Demolition & Tear-Out

It’s in our name for a reason. Whether it’s a cracked driveway, an old slab, a storm-damaged structure, or a whole building that needs to come down, we demo it, break it, load it, and haul it off — leaving you a clean site that’s ready for what’s next.

Because we’re also the crew that pours the replacement, you get one contractor and one price from tear-out to finished concrete.

Demolition and tear-out in a region that rebuilds

Built for Southeast Texas ground and weather

Southeast Texas knows tear-out. Harvey in 2017 put historic floodwater through Jefferson and Orange County — Beaumont took over 26 inches of rain in a single day, and the storm-total record for the whole United States was set right here in Mid-County. Imelda did it again in 2019. Every one of those storms left slabs, driveways, and structures that had to come out before anything could be rebuilt — and that cycle is still working through the region’s housing stock.

Tear-out is also just what 60-year-old concrete needs. Most SETX homes date to the 1960s and 70s, and their original flatwork — driveways, patios, walks poured when the house was built — is at end of life on ground that’s been moving under it the whole time. We break out, load, and haul off old concrete cleanly: saw-cut edges where the demo meets concrete that’s staying, and a site left graded and ready, not cratered.

Because demolition and new concrete are one crew here, the tear-out and the repour are one schedule and one price. Old slab out, base corrected, new concrete in — with no gap where a demo contractor’s rubble pile waits three weeks for the next trade to show up.

What moves the price

No games — here's what your estimate depends on

Volume and thickness of concrete coming out set the base — breaking and hauling a thin patio is different work from a reinforced commercial slab. Access is the next factor: whether equipment can reach the slab directly or the concrete has to travel to the trailer changes crew time.

If new concrete follows the demo, pricing both as one job saves mobilization — one estimate covers tear-out through finished pour. Free on-site look, one written number either way.

Questions, answered straight

What homeowners ask us about demolition
Do you haul off the debris?

Yes — haul-off is part of every demo job. We break the concrete, load it, and leave the site clean and graded. No rubble pile in your yard waiting on a second contractor.

Can you take out part of a slab without wrecking the rest?

Yes. We saw-cut clean lines where the demo meets concrete that’s staying, so the edge that remains is straight and sound — important when a new pour ties into old work.

Do you demo structures or just flatwork?

Both. Concrete tear-out is the core — driveways, slabs, patios, walks — and we take on structure demolition like sheds, carports, and storm-damaged outbuildings, with haul-off included. Describe what needs to go and we’ll tell you straight if it’s our kind of job.

Storm damage took out my driveway/patio. Can you handle tear-out and replacement together?

That’s exactly how we prefer it: one crew, one schedule, tear-out through new pour. This region has rebuilt after Harvey, Imelda, and every storm before them — we’ve poured a lot of that recovery.
